Training Experience

Dr. Sokoll greatly enjoys teaching as well as clinical work with patients and families. He selects teaching opportunities within the Philadelphia area and focuses on teaching multiple courses within the School of Medicine and residency and fellowship training programs at the University of Pennsylvania. He participates as symposium member or leader in national panels and conferences on mental health and on the practice of medicine.

 

  • Dr. Sokoll teaches medical students, residents and fellows at the University of Pennsylvania in the School of Medicine and in the postgraduate training programs at the Hospital of the University or Pennsylvania and the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia.
  • Dr. Sokoll participates in regional and national conferences in child development and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and has received national recognition through participant response to his teaching.
  • Dr. Sokoll has participated in teaching through media interviews including print, radio and television.
